Server Relocation Complete

Greetings,

After a sleepless 24 hours, we finally completed the migration of all servers and equipment to the new office location at 10:30 AM on Sunday morning. We've verified that all servers are on and working properly. Cashman's internal mail service and voicemail was down for a few hours more, but all customer services are now up and functioning.

We REALLY appreciate your patience as we iron out any further wrinkles while our servers settle in to their new home. There may be very brief outages of one or two servers in the near future, as we reroute power and data lines but we'll provide notification to affected parties beforehand.

Planned Service Outage - July 11-12

Greetings,


As you may have heard, Cashman Computer Associates has been transitioning to a new office space just up the street from our old office location. We're still in Old Lyme, CT, just a few moments away from Exit 70 on I-95.


CCA staff have already been relocated to the new office space for a couple of months, but our servers and Network Operations Center (NOC) have remained in our previous office space. In the interim, we have been establishing a new infrastructure of power and connectivity in preparation for moving the NOC to the new location.


Recently, we completed the final connectivity step, and are ready to move the NOC this weekend, July 11-12.


We will be moving all of our hosted servers, network equipment, backup systems, and cooling units into the new NOC location. This relocation does not require any configuration changes to be made by our hosted customers in order to continue service.


Throughout the weekend, all services will be intermittent as we move equipment into a permanent location. We will be working quickly to avoid extended outages, but it is inevitable that services will need to go offline for significant periods during the move. We appreciate your patience during this move.


The majority of the work will be occurring late Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning EST to reduce the impact of service outages.


Once the move has been completed and access to services has been re-established, we'll circulate a followup announcement.
